Downtown for the Holidays!

IBEW Holiday Lighted Parade

Celebrate the start of the holiday season in Downtown Sioux City at the 2025 IBEW Holiday Lighted Parade on Monday, November 24, at 6:15 p.m. This magical annual event is presented by the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW), Local 231 and is one of Siouxland’s most beloved holiday traditions.

Parade Route & Tree Lighting

The parade will travel along 4th Street, beginning at Iowa Street and ending at Nebraska Street. After the parade, gather in front of the Sioux City Public Museum to watch the lighting of the downtown holiday tree – a moment that officially kicks off the holiday season in Sioux City.
