John Anderson of LoneOakHoney.com will be at Red Valley Natural Foods, 600 Water St, Sioux City, Iowa 51103, on Saturday, January 20, from 10am to 2 pm talking about this year’s Beginning Beekeeping classes.
Curious about beekeeping? John will be answering your questions about bees and beekeeping in preparation for the upcoming classes he is teaching in collaboration with the Siouxland Beekeepers Club. Whether you’re considering beekeeping as a hobby or just want to learn more about honey bees, this is your chance!
Beekeeping is a very rewarding hobby, and many potential beekeepers think it is a great way to get lots of honey. Stop by to discover why this isn’t always the case and learn why opting to buy your honey from a local beekeeper can be more cost-effective. Like, for example, the honey from Mallett Bees that you can get at Red Valley Natural Foods!
If you have not been to Red Valley Natural Foods yet, now is a good time to check it out and also talk about bees. John will also have beeswax candles, beeswax skincare products, and propolis from his beehives for sale while he is in the store.
The Beginning Beekeeping classes will be held at Woodbury County Extension office at 6:30 pm on February 1, 8, 15, 22, & 29.
