Downtown Partners is excited to start the holiday season with an evening full of activities for this
year’s Downtown for the Holidays on Monday, November 21 at 6:15 p.m. in Sioux City, Iowa.
The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW), Local 231 presents the annual
Downtown Holiday Lighted Parade. The parade will travel along 4th street starting at Iowa Street
and ending at Nebraska Street. We will gather in front of the Sioux City Public Museum where
we will light the tree and welcome the holiday season.
Registration for the parade closes Tuesday, November 15 at 11:59 pm.
Additional events on the night of the parade include: Free admission to LaunchPAD Children’s
Museum from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. with a donation to the warming shelter; create a handmade ornament at the Sioux City Public Library, free hot chocolate before the parade at Evolve Yoga and Wellness; the 29th annual Festival of Trees display will begin in the Ho-Chunk Centre at 6:00 p.m. with the tree auction for the Siouxland Foster Closet on December 1st; Santa’s House will be located at 422 Pierce Street until 8:00 p.m.; free RE/MAX Preferred stocking hats to parade attendees at 4th and Jones; the Sioux City Convention Center and Hardline Coffee Co. will have festive treats for sale near the parade.
