We’re kicking off college football season with a Downtown Tailgate Party Saturday, October 1 from 10:00 am – 6:00 pm on Fourth and Jones Streets! Organized by Downtown Partners and RE/MAX Preferred, the goal of the Downtown Tailgate Party is to bring a gameday atmosphere to the streets of downtown Sioux City. All proceeds will benefit Siouxland nonprofit organizations through FORSiouxland.
We invite you, and your gameday crew, to watch your favorite college team on our three large outdoor screens! Come early to grab a cup of locally roasted coffee and claim your spot! Classic tailgate food will be provided by the chefs at Courtyard by Marriott – Sioux City Downtown Convention Center and specially crafted beer will be available for purchase. RE/MAX Preferred will also be offering tethered hot air balloon rides for a free will donation! Renowned singer/songwriter Damon Dotson will be performing your favorite hits live on stage. To top off your tailgate experience, Children’s Miracle Network is coordinating a cornhole tournament to be played throughout the day. All this and more, for FREE this fall Downtown!
