On Tuesday, the U.S. Senate approved an additional $310 billion of funding for the popular Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loans for small business owners, and the U.S. House of Representatives passed the measure today. President Trump said he will sign it quickly (possibly as soon as Friday).
We anticipate that shortly thereafter, the SBA will reopen the application process for those in queue and those finalizing with their bank.
If you missed out on Round 1 of PPP please get ready NOW for Round 2, as these funds will go even faster. If you intend to file for the PPP loan reach out to your financial institution, accountant or attorney soon.
