Downtown Sioux City Launches Outdoor Sound System & Public WiFi

Downtown Sioux City is turning up the volume and boosting the signal!

Downtown Partners has launched not one, but TWO exciting new projects that will enhance the pedestrian experience along 4th Street.

The long awaited outdoor sound system is officially live between Virginia and Jones Streets. As you stroll from business to business, you’ll hear a curated mix of familiar tunes filling the air. This is Phase One of a larger vision to connect Historic 4th Street to Historic Pearl Street through the power of music.

Getting online is easier than ever! Free public Wi-Fi is available along Historic 4th Street! Simply connect to the “ImOn4thStreet” network to browse, share, and stay connected while exploring everything downtown has to offer.

These projects are part of ongoing efforts by Downtown Partners to create a more connected and engaging urban environment.
